About LocalSvgPng
LocalSvgPng is a small, free utility on Cloudflare Pages (localsvgpng.pages.dev). It does one job: turn SVG files into PNG images inside your browser tab. It is published by a small independent team (Luminesca) that builds single-purpose, local-first web tools. There are no accounts, no paid tier and no advertising on this site today.
Why it exists
Many SVG to PNG sites upload your file to a server, add sign-up walls, or rasterise at a fixed low size. Browsers already contain a good SVG renderer and a PNG encoder, so the conversion can happen locally. Logos, icons and unreleased artwork can stay on your device.
What it is not
- Not an SVG editor or optimiser: it does not change your SVG.
- Not a font or image fetcher: external resources in the SVG are not loaded (see fonts guide).
- Not an ICO, JPEG, WebP or PDF exporter.
